 SjB is a duo based in Seattle, Washington. (SJ and Princy B) SJ aka Veasna “Jimmy” Mam is Cambodian, Vietnamese And Chinese American and Princy B aka Ben Satele is American Samoan descent. They began their journey towards success in the 7th grade. The duo started out doing talent shows and dominated every challenge proposed. SjB has been and still is influenced by Bone Thugs n Harmony, OutKast, Mack 10, E-40 and The Click, Richie Rich, Ice Cube, Blue Scholars, and Tupac Shakur and other great West Coast trailblazers. They are avid listeners/students of the great sounds of the 70’s and 80’s which have helped balance their unique styles. SjB is different from other bands/artists due of their ethnicity and humble surroundings based on family and the true belief of better days; not money for art but for the love of the music. Love is the true essence of SjB for without love there would be no enjoyment in participating in such a stressful art form that allows not one but both SJ and Princy B to grow as students of the craft. SjB has recently worked with California based director Tha Razor, who has directed two wonderfully awesome, high end music videos."Set You Free" and "Brand New Day" highlight the duo's diverse lyrical aptitude along with a very artsy/adult style. Both videos can be seen on the SJBmuzic page on YouTube. SjB also opened for J.Holiday and Louisiana rapper Hurricane Chris. SjB completed their 1st studio album that features the world changing D.O.M. (Death of Music). Seattle director Guad directed the D.O.M. video that is also on YouTube. SjB also has featured artists such as Bizzy Bone of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, T-Nutty and Keak tha Sneak. SjB is here and blessed with the mindset to dominate the global rap scene for years to come. Their manager along with a few others have figured out the music industry and have decided to let SjB's hard work/art speak for itself
